Each application created on can be , this effects how each customer sees your applications metadata along with various factors such as device language, primary language you have chosen and customer's location.

Localized languages have their own metadata.

Lets say, your application is localized to English (U.S) as primary language, French and German languages.

Your description, keywords, and what's new fields along with texts on your screenshots and preview videos are all seen in French for a customer who lives in France.

They are all seen in German for a customer who lives in Germany.

If a customer is living in Italy, because you did not localized your application in Italian, customer will see your metadata in English (U.S), since it is your primary language.

You need to provide each text field (description, keyword, what's new), screenshots and previews videos for each device size, for each localization separately on App Store Connect. For languages you do not provide any input, your primary language metadata is shown by default.

Doing this operation one by one for each language takes a long time, hence StoreSyncer.

You can name your collections, names must be unique.

Main Collection

You can edit, rename, delete Main collection just like any other collection you have.

StoreSyncer works with collections. Collections are packages. These packages have languages inside () and each language has its own description, keywords, what's new and screenshots fields (for each device size such as iPhone 6.5'').

When you on StoreSyncer, a copy of all your metadata for all localizations is created. This collection is named automatically as "Main".

Purpose of Main is to provide you a base, like a system restore point. Lets say it is Christmas time and you have changed your screenshots for all localizations on App Store Connect. When it is time to go back to normal screenshots, with a single click and you are done.

Each time you create a collection, what is currently on your App Store Connect is taken as a source. You can choose what to include in your collection. .
