Metadata refers to fields filled with information about an app. They are divided into textual and visual information. On App Store Connect and StoreSyncer, these fields are description, keywords, what's new, screenshots and previews.
Textual Data: Includes description, keywords, what's new fields for an app.
Visual Data: Includes screenshots and previews for an app.
Previews: Short videos that demonstrate the features, functionality, and user interface of your app or game on your App Store product page.
is the practice of adapting and (elements) that a user sees on an app's product page into a target language, in order for the app to be found in the target App Store. This metadata includes app name, title, subtitle, description, and text in imagery (screenshots and/or video).
A collection is a package of metadata for an app. There can be multiple collections containing different metadata about one app. An app can have multiple collections. A collection can contain metadata in any language based on the app’s localizations.
App Store Connect is the platform that Apple provides to app developers to publish and to track their app's performance on the App Store.
A ZIP file, empty or containing descriptions, keywords, what's new texts, screenshots and previews. It can contain any and all of the mentioned data.
